Mission Statement

Angel Flight of British Columbia is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides air transportation for people needing medical services at hospitals and centralized medical care facilities in Vancouver and Victoria. Our services are provided free of charge. We fly as needed and as often as our capacity and weather allows to serve the needs of our community.

Utilizing a network of volunteer private pilots and aircraft owners, as well as & "ground crew" support, Angel Flight works with families, doctors, hospital personnel, and social workers to arrange for flights to medical treatment centres in British Columbia.

President's Message

I have the distinct honour of introducing to you, Angel Flight of British Columbia. This 100% volunteer-run, non-profit, charitable organization is comprised of volunteer pilots, business professionals, and hard working British Columbians who have partnered to provide individuals suffering from medical issues with a convenient and comfortable transportation option when treatment is required outside of their city, town, village or area of residence.

We strive to ease the suffering endured by both the individuals and their families, with a simple yet passionate goal:

If we can shorten a patient's travel time by even one hour and provide them with comfort and dignity in doing so, then we will have accomplished our mission.

Through our network of partner organizations and our own flight operations, we aim to fulfil 100% of referrals received.
